Training Centre - Become a Ski Instructor
The Courchevel 1850 French Ski School is an approved training centre.
ESF 1850 would not entirely fill its role if it didn't allow young talented skiers that were once pupils to become instructors by passing this difficult and prized diploma
We have a highly active training service in all domains (slalom, giant slalom, free and imposed ski, mountain knowledge, snowboard). ESF 1850 has implemented complete training programmes in the form of courses.
This can be technical training:
- Preparing the Technical Test (special slalom)
entry point to the ski instructor curriculum
- Preparing the Eurotest (giant slalom)
high level European test (100 ISF points)
- Preparing the technical week for the 1st cycle
a demanding test at the National School which needs to be prepared
- Preparing the Snowboard test 2nd cycle
high level needing training
- Preparing the different Mountain and Eurosecurity tests
that need extensive knowledge
The training can also be live (real situation): These are courses for understanding and application to which we give a great deal of importance.
These courses are organised during the winter season. We also have training offers (technical test, Eurotest, technical week) in autumn at the Grande Motte glacier in Tignes (end of November and beginning of December).
