Skiing is a hobby you can practice with your whole family, it will help you escaping from every day life and forget about all your problems, but it remains a dangerous activity if you do not respect safety instructions.
A word about skiing at Courchevel :
Skiing in Courchevel is exceptional, moreover for beginners and children (Village des enfants, slalom stadium for beginners, wide green slopes very well groomed). 540 snow canons fill in the beginning of winter lack of snow and help having perfect snow until spring. The great diversity of slopes help any skier improving at its own pace.

Born in Courchevel, good technic skier who used to be part of the Club des Sports, 20 years of competition, I live all year long in Courchevel. I have a good knowledge of the mountains, and spent 30 years helping at the Rescue center of Courchevel. I also have been a volunteer fireman and kept from it a good physical condition. Great interpersonal skills with children, I am patient, nice and smiley.
