The Childrens Village is an excellent facility for children, is located near the Forum-Rink and welcomes children from the age of 18mths.
Can we attend the sessions?
Remain "hidden" behind a slalom post to observe your child: your little one will spot you faster than you think and it could trigger them to cry or take away their desire to ski and "play with their new friends! maybe come for a short time at the end of the session. We will have your mobile number (ensure this is given on registration) and in case of any problems we will contact you.
How should I dress my child?
Inside: some thermals, top and pants or tights and ski socks. Outside: a snow outfit (or combination jacket and ski salopettes), a pair of ski mittens attached by a cord, a hat, a pair of sunglasses attached by a cord, a tube of sun cream and snow shoes or boots. I don't speak French. Will I understand my instructor?
Most of our ski instructors now speak English. At ESF Courchevel 1850 we have worked hard in recent years to overcome the language barriers between ourselves and our customers. We are striving to increase this percentage even further in the next few seasons. You can ask for an English speaking instructor when making your booking. Either use our "Hire an instructor" section or fill out an enquiry form with your request details.

Private lessons

Why a private lesson?
The private lesson can also be very beneficial whatever your level, your lesson will be customised to maximise your progress and with fun and confidence to master your technique. One can also take the opportunity to discover another discipline snowboard, telemark, cross country, etc.
Are private lessons recommended for beginners?

Whats the difference between the individual lesson for 1/2 persons and 3/4 persons?
A private lesson is a provision of an instructor at your request. Your lessons are tailored for you and adapted to your progression, therefore you cannot 'complete' a private lesson, the lesson moves with you and does not restrict you to a level as a group lesson might. However if more than 1 participant you need to have the same ability. If you are 1 or 2 persons of the same level, you are in the category 1/2 people. If you are 3 or 4 people of the same level, family, friends, you are in the category 3/4 people.
