‘The mountain provides the setting… We then have to create the story that goes with it!’

About

Originally from Paris, Jérémy Drouet discovered Courchevel 1850 from his earliest days. He has been teaching in this resort since 2009 and has lived there since 2016. Jérémy is specialised in alpine skiing, snowboarding, ski touring and off-piste skiing. Led by his passion for sliding sports and his desire to transmit it since his earliest childhood, he also teaches competitive skiing.

In order to help his learners improve, Jeremy adapts his skills in a playful way thanks to a structured class, as he was being taught within the ESF. He shares certain values with the ski school, such as passion, professionalism, and the pleasure for teaching. As a member of ESF competition-training in Courchevel 1850 for years, Jérémy participated in several FFS and FIS races.

Jeremy, who likes practicing skiing in all circumstances (on powder snow, steep slopes, slaloms, etc.) especially appreciates being able to practice in a conductive environment: Les 3 Vallées skiing area, in which his favourite slopes are La Combe des Pylônes and La Combe de la Saulire as well as the corridors or La Saulire and Les Avals.

This enthusiastic instructor has already instructed in other ski resorts abroad, among which Mount Buller in Australia, Cardrona in New Zealand as well as in Italian and Swiss resorts. Jérémy is always keen on discovering new cultures and different ways of teaching. Thus, he regularly goes off to discover new places whenever he has the opportunity to do so, either on skis or on a snowboard.
