Originally from south Brittany, Philippe has been teaching for 41 years. Passionate about skiing, this sports gives him ‘a great feeling of freedom among pleasant green spaces.’

Philippe started training at the age of 13. He became a mountain infantryman (combat unit) before spending a season as a ski patrolman in Chamrousse.

Experienced instructor, Philippe teaches different disciplines, such as cross country skiing, ski touring, Alpine skiing and off-piste skiing in several resorts. Perhaps will you be lucky to discover these different disciplines with him.

Philippe appreciates the pleasure this sport conveys, among an exceptional mountainous scenery, and the possibility to combine this sport with others once the skiing season is over. The feeling of freedom among this wonderful mountainous landscape are the elements which make skiing his greatest passion.

As an attentive instructor, he adapts his teaching method to his learners’ expectations and objectives. In a general way, he likes observing the pleasure they experience when improving and successfully achieving an exercise.

Every day, Philippe realises how lucky he is to teach in these conditions, in a skiing area which is well maintained and diversified. For him, Courchevel is unquestionably the most beautiful skiing resort.

His favourite spots? The less frequented ones, which enable him to enjoy peacefully the slopes on a good snow.

Philippe adapts his sport activities according to the season, since he practices sailing and tennis when the skiing season is over. His passions are diversified and include travelling, reading and music.

He carried out skiing expeditions several times, especially in Italy (Livigno, Sestrière, Apennins), in Austria (Saint Anton, Lech, Stuben) in Switzerland (Saint Moritz, Zinal, Lezin, Saas Fee) and in Australia (Mount Buller). From all these experiences, he retains that the Trois Vallées skiing area has nothing to be ashamed of!
