A ski instructor for 35 years, Véronique has been skiing the slopes of Courchevel for... ever?

Originally from Saint Bon, Véronique is a local woman. A ski instructor for 35 years, she never grows tired of hitting the slopes of Courchevel. Just like the others natives of this place, the ski area has been her playground for nearly 50 years !

Veronique's family contributed to her passion : her father, her uncles, and her friends' fathers are the ones who founded the legendary ski school of Courchevel.

At the age of 4, the instructor begins skiing, and quickly enters the Sports Club of Courchevel. Then, she starts competition in the committee of Savoy. This is how she won the title of champion of France 4 times. However, Veronique confesses that at the beginning, cold, storms, big falls and wounds almost dissuaded her, but she never stopped ! Since her passion is stronger than anything else, once the sun and the beautiful snow are back, her fears were quickly forgotten !

In love with freedom and beautiful landscapes, Veronique loves skiing alone or with friends and is always happy to be physically active in a dreamy setting. Even after 50 years, this experienced instructor sees the mountains of Courchevel in a different way every new season.

Véronique thinks about teaching very early. As she belongs to the family who founded the ESF, she naturally decides to share the pleasure of skiing and to teach to young and to older. Besides, Courchevel offers the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.

It is hard for her to tell what her favorite slope is. Jockers, Combe des Pylônes, Jean Blanc... On the area, all the itineraries are well maintained and offer stunning panoramas.

To teach skiing, Véronique adapts her teaching approach to each student so that everyone can have confidence on the slopes. As a teacher, her greatest satisfaction is teaching children who, later, bring their own kids to her !

Outside the slopes, the instructor loves swimming, but also walking whole days in mountains or picking apples and mushrooms. She also loves travelling on this beautiful planet ! This is why she went to Las Lenas in Argentina, where she learned a new language and question her teaching... But of course she came back to Courchevel, her favorite resort.
