‘I am working on the most beautiful slopes in the world!’
Native of the resort, Béatrice has been passionate about skiing since her earliest childhood. She has taught for 28 years with the same passion.
In Béatrice’s family, the passion for skiing passes on from generation to generation. Her parents were themselves ski instructors and transmitted their passion for teaching and for snow sports; this is why she also decided to earn a living out of it. Today, she practices several other sports. In addition to skiing, she loves snowboarding, off-piste skiing, cross-country skiing, but also hiking. She has the opportunity to practice all these passions in Courchevel as well as in the surrounding areas.
Very attentive to her learners, Béatrice takes into account each of their needs. She adapts her teaching depending on their levels, experiences and desires. Passionate about her job, she has been involved in every learner for more than 28 years. Her greatest satisfaction? Observing anxious learners finally hurtling a green ski run or a blue one with no apprehension.
Keen on her region, Béatrice has always lived in Courchevel. She put on her first pair of skis at the age of three and never took them off since then. She even took part in competitions and was rewarded by several regional titles. Even though she also practices running, mountain biking and hiking, her favourite season remains winter, during which she can explore ‘the most beautiful slopes in the world, in the Trois Vallées ski resort’. Even though she hit Swiss, Italian and Austrian slopes, her favourite one remains the Chapelets in Courchevel 1650.
Working for the ESF is self-evident for her; the ski school has always conveyed a quality image, whether for its professionalism, thoroughness and its attentions towards its learners.
