Before arriving in Courchevel 1850, Hugo taught skiing in Valloire, where he is from. This former competitor trained Alpine hunters there, thereby broadening his range of skills.
After five years as an officer in the Alpine hunters, Hugo wanted to find a job that would offer him more freedom. He found this balance by becoming a ski instructor, a job that also allows him to live out his passion for winter sports. He learned to ski at the age of two and joined the ski club a few years later, at the age of five.
Hugo is versatile but specialises in ski touring, off-piste skiing and competition lessons in Courchevel. The resort won him over with its proximity to the Vanoise National Park and its dynamic atmosphere. Through his caring teaching style, motivated by a desire for effectiveness, he accompanies students from all walks of life.
This great lover of the mountains is also a fan of paragliding, mountaineering and climbing. He has had the opportunity to ski in South America and many European countries during his competition trips. His favourite spot in Courchevel? The Émile Allais slalom stadium, which holds some of his memories as a competitor.
