Born in Annecy, Louis is a young esf instructor who has lived in Courchevel 1850 all his life. Today, he is continuing his career in the ski resort where he grew up, passing on what he has learnt to students of all ages.

At the esf, he particularly enjoys this ‘passing on of knowledge’ and is highly skilled at tailoring his teaching to each student through a personalised approach. His students, for their part, are very fortunate to be able to learn the art of skiing alongside him, as he already has a wealth of mountain experience behind him, particularly in alpine skiing.

After discovering skiing at the age of 3, it immediately became clear to him : he wanted to ski. It was this motivation, combined with a great deal of hard work, that subsequently enabled him to compete and join the French Alpine Skiing Team for seven years. He also won the French U18 Championship title, alongside numerous other podium finishes.

Even after having had the chance to ski the world’s best slopes, he still says that Courchevel 1850 remains his favourite playground. Louis also works as a pilot alongside his job as an esf ski instructor. He usually divides his free time between hockey, surfing and volleyball. His days are therefore very busy, which means he never gets bored and is able to develop a range of talents.
