Mateo chose to wear the famous red and blue esf Courchevel 1850 ski suit because alpine skiing was an obvious choice for him- ‘I've always wanted to teach, ever since I was a child.’ Indeed, this young ski instructor had the chance to discover the joys of skiing at the age of 18 months with his father. His playground was none other than the slopes of Courchevel. The path was already mapped out for this sporty boy!

After several years of competition (Bronze Cup, Silver Cup, etc.) and a few expeditions to ski resorts abroad, Mateo now wants to pass on the pleasure of learning alpine skiing to other students of all ages, in line with the values of the esf. If your skiing level allows it, he will be delighted to show you his favourite ski slopes, such as La Saulire.

Alongside his work as an instructor in Courchevel 1850, in the heart of the Tarentaise Valley, Mateo is continuing his studies and enjoys various sports, such as football and cycling. As a lover of the great outdoors, he spends much of his time outside, both in summer and winter. His busy schedule allows him to flourish and continue to enjoy unique experiences throughout the year!
