Hailing from Bozel, Matheo is a young ski instructor who has recently joined the Courchevel 'red jacket' team. He teaches children to ski in both French and English and also runs competition training courses.
He first made his mark in the world of competition. He started skiing at the age of two with his grandparents, who were instructors, and went on to compete from the age of 6 to 16. He notably finished in the top 10 of the French U16 Championships!
Matheo then chose to become an instructor in order to share his passion for skiing with as many people as possible. What does he love most about winter sports? The sensation of gliding, the feeling of freedom and, of course, the competitive spirit.
Matheo has known the resort of Courchevel for many years : he has been a member of the sports club since the age of 6 and has skied the resort’s slopes countless times. So it's only natural that he identifies with the school's values of passion, sharing and learning.
You might spot him during a ski lesson or bump into him on one of his favourite runs in the ski area, such as Les Creux or La Saulire. As well as being an instructor and a student, Matheo is also a true sports enthusiast who enjoys football, cycling and tennis!
