Jean-Yves has been teaching with the same passion for more than half a century.

Originally from Bayonne, Jean-Yves has been teaching with an intact passion for 50 years.

At 8, this instructor starts skiing through snow classes, a passion that will never leave him. Attracted by the fame of Courchevel where some of his friends lived, Jean-Yves discovers the resort and is taken with the beautiful landscapes of this area.

His love of the mountain and his passion for skiing push him to become an instructor. Very good at teaching and explaining, he has been able to perfect his know-how and his teaching methods for nearly half a century. He knows how to be understood by everyone and explain all kinds of ski techniques in a simple way.

During his career, Jean-Yves went skiing to Canada and learned English in the USA. Out of season, he works as a swimming instructor.

In Courchevel, you can meet Jean-Yves in the restaurant Le Tremplin, when he is not hitting his favorite slope : Les Creux.
