Native of the resort since many generations, Mathis is taking his first steps in instructorship, but it does not mean he is less experienced than his colleagues! He has had skis on his feet since he knew how to walk and, for him, skiing was a true revelation. His passion for mountain sports and his desire to share pushed him to get trained to become an instructor of the ESF of Courchevel 1850.

Gifted for this winter sport, Mathis took part in many competitions for over 10 years. Thanks to his passion, he had the opportunity to travel and discover the large diversity of massifs as well as the different cultures around skiing.

Apart from his love for skiing, Mathis is a sportsman at heart, he practices many outdoor activities such as surfing, cycling or motor sports. His goal in life is to always go beyond his limits. Moreover, when Mathis is not teaching you how to ski, he is a business student.

For him, the ESF represents the values of sharing and selflessness as well as the transmission of a joint passion by a group of professional instructors. His favorite slope in Courchevel 1850 is the M when it is packed.
