Fireworks Festival: the magic of light in Courchevel 1850

The brand new edition of the pyrotechnic art festival returns to Courchevel for the 23ᵉ year. On the programme: entertainment, DJ sets, torchlight descents, but above all grandiose fireworks displays showcasing the expertise of pyrotechnicians from all over the world.

From 10 February onwards, holidaymakers from all over the world can look forward to a moment of wonder and magic in an exceptional mountain setting. Between technical prowess and visual spectacle, you'll be in for a real treat at Courchevel 1850!

The pyrotechnics festival is a unique competition in which fireworkers from all over the world take it in turns to put on a fireworks display that is as creative as it is technical, in sync with music of all kinds.

Created in 2003, the event takes place every year in the ski resort of Courchevel and features a variety of themes that participants must respect. For this 23ᵉ edition, the theme "Courchevel, 80 years of passion" has been chosen to mark the resort's anniversary. Eight decades of sport and the art of living will thus be celebrated during these sound and light events.

As in previous years, the festival attracts thousands of spectators, so don't hesitate to come and (re)discover all the joys of the event!

With its magical and unique setting, the fireworks festival is a must-see original event in the ski resorts. The various fireworks displays will take place on the snow fronts of the different villages in Courchevel, creating an exceptional spectacle combining mountains, snow and spectacular illuminations. Immersed in the heart of the 3 Valleys Alpine scenery, you'll be able to enjoy a truly fascinating experience.

But the light show doesn't stop with the fireworks! Before that, esf Courchevel instructors will be taking part in the festivities with memorable torchlight descents . Equipped with torches and light suits, they'll descend the slopes to create a magical tableau that perfectly introduces each pyrotechnic scene.
