CHILDREN'S VILLAGE
The Children's Village, an excellent facility for children, is located near the Forum-Rink and welcomes children from the age of 18 months.
From what age children can go to the Children's Village?
From 18 months to 3 years, children are welcomed in the childcare center. This option is available for half or full days (with or without lunch).
Your children from 3 to 12 years old (from beginner to "1ère Étoile" level) can learn to ski with our group lessons in the Children's Village.
What should my child bring for the week in the Children's Village?
For children from 18 months to 5 years old, it is essential to have a health record so that the team knows your child better.
Also remember to equip your child correctly: ski suit, mittens, glasses, sun cream, handkerchiefs. Don't hesitate to bring your child's cuddly toy so that he/she feels reassured in this new environment.
What is the programme for the day at Club Piou-Piou?
The day's programme is based on the children's progress. Apart from the times of ski learning, the day is divided between food breaks, pee breaks and games to discovering the snow and mountain environment.
Will my child discover skiing at the daycare centre?
The daycare activities do not include an introduction to skiing. However, the BB Ski course allows children from 18 months to 3 years old to benefit from an introduction to skiing with a private instructor. The course must be booked on site.

How are the meals organised in the Children's Village?
-For children enrolled in daycare: They eat together at the Children's Village, where they are supervised and cared for from 12pm to 2pm. After lunch, they take a nap in a room dedicated to rest time. Meals must be booked at the same time as purchasing lessons.
-For children enrolled in ski lessons at the Children's Village (below 1st star level): They eat together at the Children's Village. They are supervised and looked after at the end of the ski lesson from 12pm to 2pm. Meals are followed by a rest or play time, depending on the age and needs of the children.
If they have an afternoon lesson, we will take them to the lesson start point. Meals must be booked at the same time as purchasing lessons.
-For children enrolled in ESF ski lessons (from preparation for the 2nd star onwards): They eat together at the Inéos restaurant. They are supervised and looked after at the end of the ski lesson from 12pm to 2pm. Meals are followed by a rest or play time, depending on the age and needs of the children. Meals must be booked at the same time as the lessons. Meals must be booked at the same time as the lessons.
-For children enrolled in the TOP6, TEAM or course: Your child can have lunch with their friends and instructor in a partner mountain restaurant at a preferential rate. Simply give them €30 pocket money and let the instructor know in the morning. No booking is necessary.
-For children enrolled in ski lessons at the Children's Village (below 1st star level): They eat together at the Children's Village. They are supervised and looked after at the end of the ski lesson from 12pm to 2pm. Meals are followed by a rest or play time, depending on the age and needs of the children.

What should I do if my child is on a specific diet?
If your child is on a specific diet or has food allergies, please report it to Esf Courchevel 1850 when booking the meals as well as the instructors and activity leaders on site.
In the event of a severe allergy, you will be asked to bring your child's meal with you. In this case, please contact our teams when making your reservation.
CHILDREN:
I have two children, can they share the same instructor (private lesson)?
There is a maximum of 5 children for the private lessons. It is important to make sure that they have the same level for the effectiveness of the lesson.
Which equipment do my child need for the ski lessons?
Your child will need a ski suit, a helmet, boots, skis, sun cream and a snack. They will aslo need the ski pass corresponding to their level. For competition-level courses, wearing a back protector and helmet is mandatory.
Where is the meeting point for the start of the group lessons?
Lessons start on the Croisette snow front in Courchevel 1850 in front of the flag corresponding to the child's level for the children more than 1st star level. Lessons start at the Children's Village for the children less than 1st star level.
INSURANCE :
What insurance should I take out for winter sports?
The ESF does not insure its students, we recommend to take out the "Carré Neige" insurance: a specific insurance that covers you in case of accident or illness.

What methods of payment are accepted by ESF Courchevel 1850?
Our online booking accepts all credit cards except Diner's Club.
For payments by cash, bank transfer, cheque or holiday vouchers, please contact us by email.
I can't access the payment page after booking my lessons, what should I do?
We advise you to lower the security level of your browser and to disable the booking time of your firewall.
