“To win you have to risk loss.”

Jean-Claude Killy, triple olympic champion in the Grenoble Olympics.

About

Great sportsman and competitor at heart, Cédric will take you to the highest slopes.

Born in a family who has been living in Courchevel for a long time, Cédric starts skiing at the age of two, encouraged by his father who was an instructor. He soon joins the Sports Club (Club des Sports) then gets into ski studies and starts teaching his passion at the age of majority.

As Cédric says, his roots are from the mountains and the pastures all around. Therefore it is with great delight that he has been skiing in Courchevel for 17 years, driven by the desire to transmit and share his passion.

For Cédric, ESF has many skills and a strong identity, built around the values of the mountains. His teaching approach is meant to be fun and reassuring, in order to make his pupils improve safely. Cédric's best memories during his 17 years as an instructor are the smile of his clients whom he guides on the slopes, and all these moments of complicity and sharing. Always special moments.

For this caring instructor, winter sports are a good way to get away from the daily grind. Skiing is perfect to go for adventure and discover amazing landscapes. Cédric had the chance to hit slopes all around the world, unforgettable moments both sportingly and culturally.

In addition to teaching, he is an electrician. A double activity which is truly rewarding and enables him to never get bored. Very sporty, Cédric loves air sports, such as wingsuit and speed riding, as much as sports in nature like hiking, mountain bike or motorbike.

In the area, he has a particular affection for slopes going down to the Praz which he used to hit as a kid, when he went back home skiing. Cédric likes moderate slopes too, like the green one Les Houches with its wonderful panorama, that he likes to go down on a slightly powdery snow. The instructor also appreciates La Face de Bellevarde in Val d'Isère, the Lauberhorn in Wengen and the Streif in Kitzbuhel ; legendary races where competitors push their boundaries to win.
