Laurent, in love with big spaces, teaches his passion since 20 years.

Native of Valmorel, in Savoir, Laurent starts skiing at the age of for, encouraged by a ski instructor father which transmits him very quickly his passion ; indeed, from its first steps on the snow, Laurent is addict. Quickly, he joins the Club de Ski of Valmorel to get out at 15 years old. During this period, he participates to many competitions, to finish to the loneliness of the skier confronted to the big spaces.

Laurent, worn by the unconditionally love for the mountain and the slipping, he decides to become ski instructor. So he enters to the École du Ski Français, according to him, guarantee of technical and teaching quality, recognized at national level but also internationally.

The ski instructor teaches since now 20 years, still with a large pedagogy, in a friendly atmosphere. He takes time to understand the eventually fears of his students to help them to pass over these fears and take pleasure on the slopes. To Laurent, who loves make discover the pleasure of slipping and transmit his expertise to people, Courchevel is an extraordinary playground.

Before arriving in Courchevel, Laurent starts his profession in Valmorel, then, teaches to fighter pilots, during his military service in Méribel. On this occasion, he discovers the domain of 3 Vallée and fall instantaneously in love with these slopes. As a teacher, Laurent had the occasion to train very different students. Then, he has accompanied a 3 years old child during his first steps on the slopes, as a man aged 80 years, and even teached snowboarding to a blind woman.

Teenagers, who always want to go faster and higher, and so many unique people, make this job an extremely rewarding profession.

Traveler and addicted to green spaces, Laurent makes many raids in ski touring. He goes for ten days, with his backpack and some food. He finds himself in the middle of huge valleys, without a noise… So many occasions to push one's limits and be with friends, in places out of time.

Laurent also likes to travel across beautiful mountains by bike, an activity he also likes in the Landes forest or on ocean coasts. Attracted by high mountains peaks as by depth of ocean, he explores seabeds by scuba diving. The instructor, always curious of new cultures, loves to travel meet new people.
